Stupid computer

Ah! Dial-up is soooooooooooooooo slow!!! :) Its terrible! I tried to open up weather.com this morning and I had enough time to take a shower and come back before it had loaded completely. Grrr! Oh well!

I'm a little bummed about missing artfair this year. I don't think I've missed a single one since I was born. Its kind of a nice climax to summer. Seeing like everyone you know in the whole of town, the gyros, making elephant ears, the whole sha-bang (however you spell it). Instead, I'm halfway across the country, sweating in front of a fan without a blender to make smoothies. Can you believe that they don't have any pancake houses or smoothie places out here? Its almost appalling and especially bad cause those are the two things I'm craving right now. I was all set to go make my own, but alas, the blender in the house doesn't work. So I'm stuck with a bunch of smoothie ingredients and no way to make them. Bummer!

Yesterday we went to Lowell, MA to see all the textile history stuff. The stuff itself was incredibly interesting, but the people there, not so much. Must be something in the water there, everyone of our guides spewed forth quite a bit of words and not a lot of information. Which was sad. Cause the stuff was amazing!!! :) they had an automatic loom all set up with multiple weft colors and an incredible pattern with chains hanging out of the head gear and a complete dropwire system set up on the back. It was amazing!!!
